Women of Color and Makeup Woes

Thousands of years ago Ancient Egyptians were one of the first civilizations to produce and use beauty cosmetics. How ironic is it that the cosmetic industry first blossomed in an African country filled with people who are beautiful hues of brown, black, and chestnut? Yet today, Women of Color (WOC) often share the struggles of feeling overlooked, inadequate and ignored in the beauty industry due to the lack of diversity.
